a real update

1. MY USB modem has been terrible so I haven't been able able to get online much.

2. I'm going to Singapore for Reading Week (October 15th through October 24th). I was originally planning on going to Perth as well but Bryn Mawr cashed in a tuition check and my bank account went from ":D Yay funds!" to "... some funds". Hopefully I'll be able to visit Malaysia when I'm there as well since they're relatively close. I'll be traveling there with my friend Eli and his friend Michael but some other friends will also be in Singapore then too.

3. Shows I've been addicted to: Hellcats, Modern Family, and Pretty Little Liars. And of course Glee. I swear I watch Hellcats just for the gymnastics and Pretty Little Liars for the fantastic fashion.

4. HK Update: I've been pretty good the past couple of weeks! I've made some more friends and we've been clubbing at LKF a couple of times during Ladies Night (free drinks and no cover charge for girls!). It's been fun; I was completely drunk on Thursday (actually stumbling but not enough for me to feel sick) but I had good friends around. :)

Also, FYI - if you're partying with a bunch of UC kids, be prepared for craziness when Katy Perry's "California Girls" comes on the dance floor. ... That's all I'm sayin'.

Drinking two White Russians, half a glass of vodka, a shot Malibu rum, and two(free) Mojitos on a early sushi dinner stomach? Probably not one of my brightest ideas. I haven't gotten a hangover yet and I don't think I ever want to.


5. The workload at HKU, on a whole, is a lot easier than Bryn Mawr but holy crap somehow I have five assignments due Monday/Tuesday. When did that happen? :| *is now going to stay at the library for the rest of the day*
