1. People either think that I'm still in high school (a jewelry sales clerk in NYC told me I had a baby-face and I wasn't quite sure how to react to that) or that I'm old enough to be married. I've pretty much looked the same since I was in 6th grade so I don't know, man.
2. I've been wanting a cartilage piercing since I was fourteen and one of these days I'm just going to cave in, fork over money, and get one. Trust me, it'll happen.
3. I hate ketchup and most condiments. This is sometimes inconvenient because a lot of Asian cooks I know can't or just plain don't distinguish between ketchup and tomato sauce.
4. I like to think that my creative writing isn't half-bad.
5. I used to be relatively fluent in reading/writing in French (speaking and listening comprehension, definitely not!) in high school. I was very into Marie Antoinette and the French royal family as a kid. I can still read, but if I were to write anything in French I'd have to review the grammar and fake my way through the gender of inanimate objects.
6. While attractive celebrities and health reasons are great ways to motivate someone to work out... I've found that the best way to get my ass to a gym is to think about how effing screwed I'd be if I found myself in a zombie apocalyptic setting.
I think this says all you really need to know about me.
7. My iTunes library is my pride and joy. All 40+ GB of it.
8. Less than a week in Hong Kong and I'm already craving a cheeseburger and fries. Or samosas. Not that I don't love dim sum, I do, but I need some variety.
9. A few days ago I recognized "What I've Been Looking For" from High School Musical just from the first few opening bars and voiced that out loud. I hoped no one judged too harshly.
